Central bank says Russians invest median 17,500 rbl in crypto
MOSCOW, Mar 31 (PRIME) -- Russian households invested a median 17,500 rubles in cryptocurrencies in 2022, according to the central bank’s materials released on Friday.
“Most of Russian households put aside no more than 20% of income in April–August 2022. Financial assets (savings) were mainly presented by bank accounts during the reporting period,” the regulator said.
The share of cryptocurrencies in total financial assets amounted to 0.4%.
